bobalou, i'd say 4 to 6 weekdays, so we're in agreement.
Aire, we are now 9 days including today into this 2.5wk cycle using 1/26 as the low. I've been thinking next Tues +/- 1 day for the 5wk low. Giving even only 2 days for the decline into those lows, don't you think any upside should be today and tomorrow for the most part, maybe into Monday am at the most?
Having said that, I've not been great at nailing these short cycles and will try to keep my eyes on the bigger picture which as you presented, still is up nicely though long in the tooth...

echo, on RUT...
last 2.5 wk cycle
1/09 to 1/26 13 days
last 6/7 day cycle
1/26 to 2/06 7 days.
maybe wed/thur 14th/15th
On RUT, WLSH, SPX, OEX yes
On MID, NYA, 2/05 the low.
Hope you are right.
also, today saw a 6/7 day cycle fld break on SPX 1/2 hour chart but no cascade. a variation 6/7 day low? hard to call.
yeah, also took out the 6/7 day price low by a smidgen.
i'd like to see a strong close to feel better about the short cycles...
