Odds of bounce lasting more than 1 day?

Comparing to other similar situations: 1) Market arguably completing a 4 year cycle top, with divergent volume and indices 2) a "sign of strength" type of move marking a change in trend (high volume and range day), accompanied by notably poor breadth with several huge disproportionately breadth days 3) we're only 6 days into a short-term downtrend 4) overseas markets show a one day pop -- not a sign of strength, mind you, but a recovery of the prior day decline Now, against that backdrop, the odds that this is more than a single day bounce is low, imho If we flush things down another 3-4 % on the nasdaq I think we'll have a tradable bounce, but this probably isn't it.

Many divirgences. MACD for 5 months on many indices. Negative.
