WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- So you're a master of the universe. What's it worth to you to get an exclusive tete-a-tete with the monetary maestro himself, former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan?
Lunch with Greenspan and his wife, NBC correspondent Andrea Mitchell, is available to the highest bidder on www.charitybuzz.com starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday.
The auction is part of a fund-raiser to benefit the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial, a nonprofit group that provides funding to human rights causes.
Only the deep-pocketed need apply, but it may be worth it to get the jump on audiences who reportedly pay out as much as $150,000 to hear a speech by the man Washington journalist Bob Woodward dubbed "maestro" for his ability to influence the economy.
Woodward is also among the celebrities you can bid to spend quality time with.
Maybe you can get a juicy advance tidbit from Greenspan's book, for which he was reportedly paid an advance of $8.5 million.
Possibly you'll hear something from Greenspan that might cause a broad market move the next day.
"Just weeks ago, stock markets across the globe were affected by his comments about a possible U.S. recession, which was followed by a huge sell-off," said a spokesman for the organization.
Higest bidder so far: just kidding.
