Well, 8 days of highs consecutively before today, gets a full .50 retracement in today and closes above the flat line on better volume... This sideways pattern is building cause for a move, There are two factors, the gap and the high volume high(just below 2471) from the crash day (2/27). There is also last week's high just below 2461. I always like to understand what the market is trying to say when it bangs up against a price area day after day. I think the tests of those 2 highs is a minimum being implied here.. The key will be what the volume is when we cross those 2 highs. We should see a "jump the creek" type of move possibly gapping over the 2461 first to challenge the 2471. Just a guess, we'll see.

a quick shot to the gap at 2504 can come at any time....2645 is the next target after that.....and probably will be reached sooner than most expect....all off course imho
Fly's in the face of the Fractals, doesn't it ? Looks like it will fill the gap.

2618 is what this is about. We are still rationalizing the huge volume day of 1/3/01, when the Fed cut a full point.
High 2618..... Low 2251
Look at it, we've been struggling with this range for almost a year and a half.

I have the original studio acetate of this song which Dylan recorded in Nashville in the early 1970's. Original vanilla sleeve, blank label, recorded on only one side. I think I've played it twice. A Columbia records exec gave it to me back when I was a radio hotshot.
I came close to selling it on ebay a couple of years ago, but couldn't bear to part with it.
Anyway, I vote for attempted gap fill that fails and then back down to previous March lows.
