Excellent map, showing the vulnerability of the oil shipping lanes.
The straits are only 25-30 mile wide at the neck, and Iran can
bring the shipping lanes to a halt by mining the area.
25% of worlds daily oil consumption ships thru the starits of Hormuz
everyday. No wonder the 6th fleet is massing in the Persian Gulf.

It should be fairly easy. A couple of ka-booms and underwriters won't cover - then nothing moves.
