NYSE MCO had a small change day today, which means a big directional move is coming. Normally these small change days result in volatile bi-directional intraday moves i.e market makes a strong move in one direction and reverses with vengeance in the other direction. But then we have been seeing those kind of moves over the last few days, which means the move on Monday will a strong directional move either up or down. Market never makes it that easy to place bets. If the market had a up follow thru today on yesterday's reversal, it would have been much simpler, both technically and psychologically. But the market has its own devious ways. The daily 34 EMA was rising yesterday, but is now flat. Even worse is the 120-min EMA which has been dead flat for the last 12 bars, which is quite unusual. Flat EMAs are indecision structures and can resolve either way. Only folks who would make money in these scenarios are those who take risk, not the analyst types who say "It could go either way". You place your bets. I continue to remain long on half my position from Wed. Good luck all......

I can bet all my money, house and dog that there won't be any big move in the next day or two. Zero. Nada. :D

I bet Paulson gosses the market or at least holds them up for the 3 day easter weekend. No reason to have bulk amounts of family all together discussing whether the market crashing is a sign to get out etc. imo...

Look at my COT charts in my blog... small traders are loaded up the @ss with shorts. This ain't going down any time soon folks. In fact, expect a rally all next week.

Big move? I thought you meant you were coming back to the Bay Area... Now looking at the market, before you dismiss the idea of a big move I submit the following: 1- Full Moon 3:15 ET on Monday. 2- Light volume holiday week. - Light volume is perfect opportunity for the operators in the market to move price around like a hockey puck.
