All green. Main basket of uranium stocks. Over 6% average gain today, a day which drives home the frequent advantage of being invested in bull markets versus trying to get cute with timing in and out.

Still amazed at the scarcity of headlines and the apparent lack of public participation.

This is the best start I've had to a year--thanks to uranium, energy and materials. The best thing is most of the charts I own are just breaking out on the weekly time frame and some appear early in runs. Some of the bases are 18 months. I've never seen so many good charts with great valuations and LT fundamentals and hardly ANYONE is paying attention. In fact, many are just waiting to short or are short the market instead of looking for charts moving up on higher volume. I see many small and mid cap materials stocks trading at single digit PEs with large amounts of net cash on the books and great 6 to 12 month growth outlooks. The funny thing is the mentality of many managers hasn't changed since the 80s and 90s. The US is relatively unimportant on the commodity front. What a great environment--strong trend, great macro backdrop and plenty of skepticism. It's still a market of sectors and trading group baskets long and short is working well with stops.

Uranium spot price surges past US$100-level

VANCOUVER, BC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 9, 2007 -- The uranium spot price surged to a new record of US$113 per pound as buyers aggressively bid for a lot of uranium at a recent bell-weather auction in Corpus Christi, Texas.

That's up 57% from the beginning of 2005.

Just kidding. It's up 446% since then, and up 57% since 2007 began.

hiker...if I recall you were the earliest or among the earliest here on the uranium front. Also, I'd like to say we are "covering" it all. Hopefully it's not a past tense thing LOL.
