$SOX/SMH BREAKOUT ZONE

4/18/2007 10:23:58 AM
It seems that $SOX/SMH want to join "Breakout" market ..

As shown on the daily chart, SMH is near at the breaking out zone and $SOX is trading above 7yr down Trendline resistance.

SMH: Info System UPGRADE due as we hear many are going online to communicate. Blackberry problem is just one example that our computer system and network need to be upgraded to meet the demand and speed since we are experiencing higher demand, faster speed with faster chips, as well as greater functionality of software requiring better hardware functionality.

Chip/Technology upgrade

DOW 12795.63 hod... getting close to... 12795.93 hod

DOW is approaching higher/high HOD heading to 12795.93 on 2/20.

$SOX/SMH positive price action is certainly helping and, breaking above the trading range, will confirm the recent market breakout.

The SOX may well be,... finally,,,, moving but,... on a days during the past 5 months or so, when the NDX and

or Rut is under pressure or down -.5 to -1.0% they have poping the SOX for a day or two.

Is it just the same old stuff we've seen for months or something different? Rhetorical.

Mr Dev:

I was wondering the same thing. When's the last time that the SOX rallied (and I mean a SOX-type rally like today) on a breadth day. I can't remember.

Well I don't know but Pick Any Big long Stick on this 5 mo chart and that will show you.

Actually there are bigger days than today to choose from,... around 4 weeks ago.

But it's not my trading vehicle,.. so It doesn't really mean anything to me.
