Well stuck with my short that moved into the NDX and still have some RUT short exposure.... funny things going on in these times with the short term and Intermediate term indicators. As the daily on the RUT tries to back off its sell signal its short term signal is still in Bullish territory...so my thoughts are ,,...at anytime if an index like the NDX starts to suffer ...they Crack the Highs with the RUT and .... Save the day on everything else.. they all are linked you know. Now for the NDX its Daily buy signal that has been on for days and days now Is starting to show signs of weakness and... and ...and I'm getting a short term SELL here today. To add something interesting into the pot I'm also Going LONG the DOLLAR right here.... it may have to be nursed along and....I plan on entering again tomorrow... ya never know ....loooks like it's usually supported after this long in this oversold area for my oscillator. So there you have and I still have some positions in the UTL and the Oil Services... Trading safe..

Played short the british pound for a nice gain today. Still haven't taken a position either way in the equity market here. Seeing the ITBM and ITVM indicators weaken for the small caps here (crossover down) and flatten for the broader market. MC summation is still headed up for the broader indexes but trying to turn over for the small caps. Weakness in the broads should lead to a better short trade in the small caps. Things could go either way here still.

Looking for a sell in the leader - nasdaq - to possibly signal a short in the small caps unless they can start leading before that. One day at a time......

Nice trade on the Bp... as I see the markets here ... they are very dangerous for the novice traders/new investors here's why. To try and short here has been a challenge for most esp if they've tried to bet against the qqqq/NDx but the Rut for the last few weeks has been somewhat forgiving. Now to be long here or even worse just entering this week with the Hoop-la....at these over bought levels is just as dangerous.. we will get the pull back no doubt. But Only the folks short will be buying on the next dip cuz many have just bought in. Personally I played that RuT short up until now and I jumped over to the NDX yesterday and added back RUT today plus adding long the dollar. ( great minds think alike eh?) Things will get more interesting.. that's for sure. Keep Up the good work!
