A very nice two days here for the SHORT RUT trade as it blew thru weeks of Bullish Rut gains.... I was actually

thinking about FLIPPING 50% to the longside but without a stronger signal than Oversold... I couldn't do it.

So I move most of the position to cash and will likely move the smaller portion to cash at the close.. if it declines

much more I will likely go long for a day ...but not sure if it will be the NDX or the RUT at this time.

So I'll take the day off and leave the rest to the rest of the traders here today.

Trade safe! ;)

The weekly RUT CHART shows 5% gains in two days if you were in the RYDEX INV DYN FUND and how it blew thru weeks of gains....

but this is a support area and not a bad decision if one was to take profits.

Well it looks like flipping would of been the best call possible.

I'm really liking what I see in the volatility at this time ...thus making faster trading more profitable.

We'll see what she does tomorrow as I expected today to bounce tomorrow to drop and another bounce

on Thursday.

best ;)

Oh so I put 50% of the cash taken this morning back on for Shorting the RUT...which is what I would of done had I taken the Long Flip.. as the indicators we looking for bounce...

which may extend into tomorrow morning ,,...and drop again.

So I leave myself a little something if it goes that route.... this quarter may end up to pretty good after all .. amazing what a couple of good days will do.

Here's how the short term INV FUND TRADE DID...

Here again are the short term charts for both the NDX and the RUT but I ZOOMED out a bit,..as we see those trend line breaks always

produce a little extra juice :) for traders.

Now we look for signs of the reverse long cross UP signals on these.

Trade well ;)

Flipped long for the gratutitous bounce off the 50 day sma this morning but used futures instead of the Rydex funds. With volatility moving as quickly as it has been lately, I'm hesitant to time the trades using only the two entry/exit times given by the funds. Switched to a shorter time frame and used those signals for the day expecting to be flat overnight. Tomorrow's another day full of new trading opportunities.

Fantastic ;)

It can be really challenging to think about entries and exits in multiple time frames ... I've experienced it to many times.

Its kind of like trying to catch every single .25 - .50% wiggle in the markets,..which i love to do,.. you can

do it for a little while, but in the end, both styles seem to suffer optimum performance.
