Never gave a clear sell.



Test of top "yellow" trend should happen or not. Bottom trend, not extended, might hold it up. TWT

If it sells off tomorrow you'll probably be able to look back on the chart and see it. No,.. but seriously ..... it will likely be the last cross of the RSI down thru the mid line,... along with the diverging bounce retest of the Mid-line,....that got rejected and failed. Dare ya go!

Jnavin & Mr. D you need to give me a lesson in divergence. I'm missing something or overlooking something and it could be both.
In the charts below I used 3-day ema to take out the noise and it appears they are moving together price wise. The last two charts measure momentum and strength, so to speak, and yes they are not the same. However it appears that the Rut has regained the M&S and is moving up. Am I miss reading the analysis?

MSS, You'll see that the blue ema has made a higher high while the red ema has not...hence the divergence they are speaking of. Best, LB

Leroy is correct and it's more than just that -- once you figure in the momentum and relative strength divergences. Short-term stuff.

OK, fair enough. I just tend to look at that sort of stuff on an individual basis, one index at a time. Seldom do the DOW theory thing as its sort of like the "half-truth" statements. Someone says "its raining outside" the truth is you are in a hurricane. And your point of short term stuff is very useful. Will try to do better next time. Thanks for your comments, mss
