Key points from:
http://www.marketwat...n...=bigcharts

"Is the U.S. stock market surge majestic or parabolic? A respected letter says both.
First a proprietary word: As of Friday night, the Hulbert Stock Newsletter Sentiment Index (HSNSI), which reflects the average stock market exposure among a subset of short-term market timing newsletters tracked by the Hulbert Financial Digest, stood at plus 59.6%
That's decisively above the plus 34.1% level recorded a month ago, when stocks finally regained February's high. At that point, Mark Hulbert declared that the HSNSI response was so cautious as to be bullish from a contrary-opinion point of view.

That caution is gone. But optimism is not yet excessive. For perspective, at the stock market's February high, the HSNSI stood even higher, at plus 62.4%. 4:30pm 05/04/2007

The respected Gartman Letter, marketed to investment institutions and not monitored by the HFD, has a chilling explanation of what's going on..."

The short version is that he thinks US markets are going parabolic and will end badly, just like Japan in 1989.
"Nulla tenaci invia est via" - Latin for "For the tenacious, no road is impossible".
"In order to master the markets, you must first master yourself" ... JP Morgan
"Most people lose money because they cannot admit they are wrong"... Martin Armstrong
