This is definitely a short term top (but don't act on my advice!). Yesterday, the "CC indicator" kicked in big time (for those who don't know, that's when I finally start to think it's time to get "onboard the trend" ... could feel it in my bones). It was further confirmed by a long time Washington mutual fund trader friend (John) who just phoned to tell me to GET IN. He was SOOOO dismayed that I was not "in." I said to myself .... "market must be almost ready to turn ... give it a day or so." It has happened 4 times in the past. I know that when he phones, it is DEFINITELY time to stay out ... at least for that moment. Perhaps you think I'm kidding .... but not the case. I need to set up a subscription website service for the "CC indicator." (okay, now I'm fibbing ... but the rest is true). Good luck all, C.C. :P

By the way, the last 4 times were major corrections ... but of course, no one knows what will happen here. Mr. Market is a tempermental and unforgiving beast.

The famous permabear Richard Russell just turned bullish this week, so who's left to buy?

... as I wrote, no one knows for sure, but when John phoned ... I laughed inside because I knew he was going to tell me to "get in the market" ... (as I'd also been thinking it, myself). He never phones when we're in the midst of a correction ... only when he's feeling high on the upward ride. Maybe it's just a freak coincidence, but the next week or so should tell the tale. Always fun to watch. Will the CC indicator hold up this time? Tune in on Wednesday for the next exciting episode. :) Best to you too, JJ ... and to everyone ... good luck and trade well. C.C. B)
