The interesting aspect about the BPINDU is that based on StockCharts, it is at an all time high (see SC chart). The Decision Point DOW MCSUM is 1444, which is at an all time high (see older DP chart, which had the SPX tag before retreat a little on the lite side). A top or an initiation thrust?

Tea: thanks, I wasn't being clear enough about that.
J: If I could recoin a phrase to make a distinction from "initiation thrust", it would be "continuation thrust". But I don't think it's allowed . Regardless, what do you see being important similarities to '98? One devil's advocate dissimilarity I'll point out is the missing divergence between price and bullish %, FWIW, and TIA.

Karma is karma and dharma is dharma, but there's no such thing as kharma.
Traders Talk's own Dharma makes very insightful comments over on the Gold Board.

The DOW internals are exhibiting some new behaviors. As I stated, would like to see earlier time frames for comparisons, especially as it relates to price.
