To me, calling a 4% move down in the US equity markets a crash was hyperbolic. For the SSEC, even more so. According to Bloomberg, the move down was less than 4%.SSEC down almost 4% and firmly below 4000:

gee, I wonder why? Monday when it was up it was reported by an expert that I forget here who said that was in response to the us markets move friday. why didn't it respond to the move by us markets on Monday? geewiz Maybe someone who knows exactly why each market moves the way it does can give us the answer.
