Long term utilities chart look good, although they're currently correcting. Any fearless forecasts?

Only correcting, short term internal bottom likely...higher price highs to come after additional price decay.
Be aware though that the next move up will more than likely be that of a termination sequence of the bull market for this sector....but good money can be made before this top is eventually seen sometime next year.

I have traded utilities for 20 years. Their price action seems to correlate best with interest rates (inverse). I expect that gold is starting to telling us that an asset deflation is coming in 2008. Interest rates will likely fall for a time, then the Fed will fight back and lower interest rates. The dollar tanks, stocks follow the dollar down. Utilities will likely be a stable investment. The demand for utilities is relatively inelastic so they have stable cash flows. All dividend paying stocks look good to me now days if they are international. I am feeling bearish these days so maybe this is too severe. Oh yes, I have been wrong- often!! Best, Islander.
