I'm look to borrow, rent, buy,etc past issues of Barron's magazine. At least 2 years of them. Anyone out there know how to get them, or have them stuffed away in your basement and want to work something out? (I live in the NYC Metro area if that helps in terms of any logistics.) Any help would be appreciated.

When I was younger, I remember there being these neat old buildings (some even had parking) where they used to have all that old kind of stuff, and there were these nice grandmotherly ladies who would help you find it. Problem is, you had to go there.

Now, if you know what you want, you can order it by phone.

Thanks for the responses. Selecto -- You make me laugh. I forget how to turn on one of those microfilm thingies. The problem is I still work for a living and do most of this "extra-curricular" analysis stuff late at night and cant get to the lie-berry. So I'm looking for old fashioned hard copies. MSS-- What I'm looking for is something obscure that is found within the body of the magazine; every week. Not market lab data. But thanks for the kind offer. So......... Maybe I have to take vacation days to sit in one of those stuff old buildings unless someone out there has the goods.

Go to the main branch of your local library. They should have issues going years back. And it's for free.

Consider eBay. I've purchased back issues of magazines there, but have never looked for Barrons. By the way, eBay is also a good place to buy inexpensive subscriptions to all kinds of magazines ... some for as little as $1.99 for 12 months. Good luck, C.C.
