Hey Mr Dev., nice call with that hook! Looks like the spx threw a bit of a hook out today as well, busting 1532, coming back to test it, then falling back out. Not as nice as your chart, but a hook, none the less. It's going to be intersting as we test the support levels on the SPX, as it seems most are convinced the next level will hold-as for myself, it is still iffy. The breadth and volume on the down moves seem consistently more forcefull than the up moves. Spooky

I apologize to everyone who has asked for not explaining more, but this is still a work in progress.

So far,... some very positive results as I'm trading it on the different indexes.


Try this one, maybe you can see when I crrrrrank it up, ....to what I would call fully optimized... it actually had

already hooked 2 weeks ago, ...and then it diverged at last weeks high,..and is now giving me the cross signal here this week !

The annotation should say 2 weeks ago,.. not days! Should also say last weeks up move,..not yesterdays.,.. I'm a bit tired

I usually don't run this signal fully optimized, because I trade the RUT or the NDX on lower time frames and

I can get easily whipped trying to play these crosses,.. especially if they are only in between extremes as you can see!


It's been pretty smooth since July 06 and as we see it here on the DOW,.. it's performing very well ( as expected) at extremes, while staying smooth and close to the market.

Nice work Dev. Do you see similar conditions now to this past Oct to Dec whipsaw on this indicator? Thanks for your work.
