Prior to options expiry. The way I see it the record put buying on the recent fall means that it is almost impossible for the market to have a meaningful decline before expiry. I read this on optionetics, where we saw the biggest put buying in 10 years I think I saw. My conclusion is that the whole market is driven by the options market. Brave call I know. I am not betting on it, but just putting myself on the record. To be clear, my original post stands. if we take out 1485 this week cash I short with it, to follow the trend. Will see.

It's not driven by options....futures market is much bigger. I added to my long positions today, but

I'm not trying to time the short-term. 1485...that's a close stop...with everyone else's.

Agree. It's predominantly driven by the Futures folks.
