If "the trend" higher is still intact, there needs to be indicators that are crossing positive earlier and those that are crossing later. Slow Stochastics are of the earlier variety. They've made more money trading securities than MACD and CCI combined. Quite an impressive record overall for an indicator that has been mainstream for a couple of decades when everyone should have had a chance to figure it out. Not! The chart on QQQQ looks "horrible" at 1st glance. Two "almost" gravestone doji's in a row would scare the pants off most ST traders. Notice, though, that the price action remains within a gigantic rising triangle. Beware of a break to the upside. I'm not long yet. Teetering, however. Bonds WAY oversold. Slingshots do crazy things in securities markets. I'm starting to hear the rubber band's stretching...waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. A release could kill shorts in bonds and stocks. (1 chart)

Evening UFO, welcome. I noticed the price action on those two negative candles (main body) remains inside the price actual body on the White candle. I'm still trying to figure things out!

What are good settings for intraday vs. weekly trading for stotastics that you use?
People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.

Remember this day, men, for it will be yours for all time.

I use 14-3-3 for Daily and Weekly timeframes, the only 2 I use. I rarely do intraday charting. U.F.O. Hey SB. There was, however, a lot of "tail" price action outside that big, white candle, unlike what you might have gotten on a bona-fide "inside" day, so I'm not sure what you noticed is as important as the containment within the overall triangle.
