And the $SPX 20ma rolled positive for the special occasion.
Modern day equivalent was the Challenger disaster. I saw that first hand. I was 50 miles away in Orlando, and it was still a huge blight in the sky, even from that distance.

Wow that is one fancy chart, certainly contributes to the 'TA is art' cliche that gets thrown out once in a while. Not saying that there is no validity, but cant imagine trading off that.

I wanted to mention this yesterday... but was a bit busy..
We know these can be good trading patterns,
but we also know they don't decline from here .. the lower trend line on your chart.
THey decline from the upper trend lines on the charts.
So,.. I think you are correct but with an early pattern recog.
Now any chart updates should prove it and is appreciated by all I'm sure
