"If the economy created too many jobs = Strong Economy" Yep, that USED to work after all the job numbers-just not lat time. It would seem that folks have learned to relate high job creation to possible rate hikes(considered poison). If the job number is high, I doubt that it will, by itself, provide more than a ten minute bump. "Bears can't win." Usually after a bit of talk like that, bears Do start to "win". "the bond market has already sold off" Well, it sure looks like it started to, but I saw nothing that screamed of finality-and rates sure seemed to effectively cap just about everything but the Naz today. Rates in a kind of "touchy" area, too, eh? Long and the short of it-I doubt we get a large gap up into the report-after the results of the last one, especially since other reports seem to be indicating a big number here. The risk reward, I feel, will keep most players out. Hope you didn't dive in there too hard, banking on a big pop. Sure, we can drift up on light volume again tomorrow, but, unlike semi-I don't see a light volume runup as too positive. When volume returns next week, lets see how things go. The oex PC and equity PC don't seem to be screaming "bottom" here. Spooky

When did bears win? If you want to be a successfull trader, you are either flat or long. The third choice is a loser beyond a few hours. Stocks go down for different reasons. Indexes have short-term corrections. This is the way the game is designed. Denleo

I post my trades real time, and have a very high percentage of good ones-mostly short. Pardon me for not wanting to sit and throw darts long-that was a better game 6 months ago.
