Anyone know. The definitiion I had was growth but beniingn inflation, which seems to be what we are in. Any thoughts. It adds to the bullish fire this basis, but am keeping an open mind.

The growth part, i agree.
Benign inflation ?? - Which planet ? - Venus, Pluto . My conservative estimate is around 15% average annual inflation over the last 3 years exculding housing. Including housing, it's about 25%-50% depending on whether you are renting or buying or where you are living. No, i am not kidding. My expenses are a proof of those numbers and i live on this planet. No, i don't have a ostentatious lifestyle !

Low inflation is certainly a myth. I suppose if food and gasoline weren't excluded (the things we buy every day) the numbers the government posts for their core inflation would reflect realitywhich is NOT pretty. Corporate profit growth was slower last quarter than it has been in over two years-still feeling warm and fuzzy?

An official inflation in Russia was above 10% over these years. Why? Because Russians are too stupid counting everything in the basket. Americans are smart. They count everything but INVESTMENT items. But we know that Investments were growing like crazy these days. In fact, Americans get pretty unchanged or even lower prices on underpants from China and cell phones from Taiwan.... So, there's no inflation in the US (by definition). But somehow our life get twice more expensive no matter where, in the US or Russia.
