Now that's what it feels like to me today, we're waiting to see the earnings. It just feels like we're setting up for another big criminal markup close on Opex Friday... I am still watching for my fib # to hit (2721.XX)... XAU is acting just fine. The SOX hit the upper target I outlined earlier...

12:15 - My best guess is tomorrow the XAU will have a strong down day, Nasdaq and SOX to new highs, unless these just stick here. The most important signal I need here to have conviction that we're making the top is the weakness in XAU and commodity sector should follow it... Basically, this is a commodity inspired bull trend in equities and we need to see weakness in the lead group...XAU should lead that weakness.

3:10 We're approaching the fib # 2721.59. And here's my strategy on that...I wait for the fib resistance cross, then I am looking for the Nasdaq to come back UNDER it before I place a short order. Then the resistance # becomes the stop if it crosses it again. Small risk, big reward if it works... because the support is at 2694, then 2665.

The leader was not XAU, the leader was oils and they led the decline, imho... BTW, congrats! the weekly high on Nasdaq is ~1720. You were off by 2 points... - kisa
