They are involved with commercial real estate, and also timber. Neither of those are going to help gain positive sentiment for them right now.

True, but they have great power assets. As a long term play I think this one is far from done.

As for the sentiment.. everything is being thrown out the window at this point :)

Except for a couple solar stocks.

BAM is a good choice. I have an eyeball on that one myself - also on LUK. Another long term play is PCL.
Good luck is with the man who doesn't include it in his plan.

I agree. I own all three as long term investments. I would say LUK is more like Berkshire than BAM.
