we sure got smashed in Oz. across the board. miners energy resources industrials financials. nothing stood out. Asia smells trouble in the US I think. If you hold up today it can only be for distribution purposes.nm

Looks like Abbey Jo's appearance marked the sell-off again, doesn't it, Bob?
Thanks for pointing that out Tuesday morning.

Hi libs, nice to hear from you; thanks for the information and insights. IMHO, if they hold up the decline and/or have an intraday rally it will be to distribute the stocks that they take in on the initial decline and then to sell short preparatory to the next leg down in the ongoing decline; this holds true for all world markets.we sure got smashed in Oz. across the board. miners energy resources industrials financials. nothing stood out. Hi everyone, keep an eye on how they set up the markets for Friday's July employment report and next Tuesday's FOMC meeting.
Here is the VIX multi-year weekly TL chart:
http://chart.nu/char...02&filter=8.png
The VIX has broken out and closed above a four-year DT line.
Here is the QQQQ multi-year weekly TL chart:
http://chart.nu/char...02&filter=8.png
The QQQQs are declining from the upper TL of a major broadening-top formation.
Cheers,
Bob-C
