I trade infrequently as I would rather fish in my retirement than stay glued to a computer screen. I was short as Mark was on 6/11 and then took the short side again on 7/23. Great, that earned me over 5 dimes. Then yesterday I blew it big time. I thought I was short the HGX in the Pro Fund Short Real Estate fund for a day trade. Well, the HGX went down 1.74%, but my fund went up and I lost $939.67 to be exact. Later, in reviewing my mistake, I learned I was actually short a bunch of Reits instead of the homebuilders. darn, do I feel foolish.

Sorry to hear that...but to be honest....you would have had to be very fast getting out of a short HGX as it has fired up 15 bucks off the low yesterday....
