Will the subprime mess impact capital spending in technology?

It is the contagion issue. I don't think it will but don't have any conviction in my opinion. I was wondering what everyone else thought.

No, but its impacting cost of capital in every sector.

Here is an idea in Tech... WDC

Hard drives are expanding their market way beyond PC's. Home entertainemnt systems, cars, you name it.

Sales growth is very strong. Stock is pretty cheap with good cash flow. KOMG aquisition is a good idea IMO.

Chart looks very solid. Just itching to break out to new highs.

Shouldn't this mess eventually decrease cost of capital as the fed will cut rates and increase liquidity.
