If it were just a game we might be indifferent, but the volitality we are experiencing, which you have enjoyed thus far, could lead to a major problem since the rewards of risk do not outweight the damage of a major systemic failure. How could that happen? The Fed could screw up and lower FF Rate and that would probably let the air out of the dollar, much to our national regret since we import 70% of our oil. It could lead to recession or worse. I can not be indifferent. Islander. :unsure:

If the Fed were to try to save the market/economy with interest rate reductions, I would expect that they would coordinate with the central banks in Japan and Europe to support the dollar. They coordinated their action to weaken the dollar over the past two years. Market intervention seems to be the rule of the day.

Just took the money off the table and went Home
