The Australian market has been an excellent barometer of world equity markets over the past many years. Each rally now after the selldown when Wall Street tanks, has only recovered 50% of the previous fall. Charts look ugly. This market has been the home of many hedge funds using cheap Japanese money. Caveat Emptor here.
