BBI just announced it acquired movielink, inc and it can now better compete with downloadable movie offerings of NFLX 211,000 ask size at 4.59 has been partially filled tonight just now for BBI The acquisition gives Blockbuster access to one of the largest libraries of downloadable movies and a large array of television content. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. BBI plans to continue to operate the Movielink service and to eventually make elements of the service available through blockbuster.com.
