Please look at the NYSE volume that your provider is indicating. Ok! Did you know that on 7/26/07, the volume on NYSE exceeded 6 Billion shares and market data was not even available for several days later. That should make all data providers data: what useless!

Price might be everything, but, if they can drive a truck with several billion shares that is not being reported, then you are looking at garbage. I don't know of any other market that would tolerate such blatant inaccuracy, without any participant making a beep.

Now, look below.
















This is what NYSE is reporting for 8/9/07 as volume for NYSE listed stocks from all sources-----5,889,632,000. Is your data even in the ballpark?
