I am extremely concerned about "no up tick rule", "tightly networked trading environment", "power of big hedge funds", "volatility", "inefficient and ineffective SEC" like subprime fiasco. Change of up-tick-rule: Of course, this changes trading strat. Con side This rule change is like a paradise of big hedge funds, especially when they are networked together, they are going to move just about any stocks, wipe out clean! With the nonsense which we have seen on "subprime" loan, the hedge fund activities are uncharted territory. No control, no policy, no audit trail, no accountability for any group activities to move stocks, etc. When we are robed out clean, it is too late for "SEC" just like "Subprime" fiasco.:

You can definitely manipulate more without the uptick rule, but you could sell short the ETFs without the uptick rule... btw a bit unrelated but what happened to the heavy insider buying signal?

Well, individual stocks ...

Insider buying:

That is not a trading signal.

Again, refer to what I noted. Eliminating up tick rules changes entire trading strat.

Including Market Timing ... Now I need to consider the change seriously.

The close is not what I wanted, but it is in my target.

Having said that, I am wasting my time on posting especially during volatile market. :bones:

Furthermore, maintaining a board and a website is time consuming... so, I think that I will take different approach.

Thanks, Markets printed a new intraday high, e.g. Qs 47.09 breadking above 5m vst, need to see a good consolidation going into CLOSE.

Volumes are light - think that many are scared and shorts are not convinced yet.

Continued strength into CLOSE will make bears to scratch their heads...

As stated, markets are showing positive D after climactic volumes and VIX, so reversing at this strong support is good for further price advancement resuming the main trend - then, massive short-covering which will be further fueling markets.

Qs traded to 46.50 +/- in premarket low. With the overshoot market actions with volatility, buying at this level is reasonable.

Supports: SPX 1400 +/-, Qs 46.30 +/- and DOW 12800 +/-
