The approach to 1998 washout.. we kept selling for a couple more days after that. And the 2002 low.

what about the 1987 crash?

I have no data to go back that far.

its ugly, and the gearing must be awfool.

i been harping about internals along with you forever, but xd pointed out something to me yesterday. that we should just put all that aside for now and concentrate on a more important indicator.

age old indicator.

price. nothing else matters now, because if the setup is right (and it probably is) and we should be going long soon, the price can move dramatically against us. similar to our vix discussion. kisa was right, until some kind of bottoming sign is shown, going long here may be technically speaking correct, but a massive emotional test.
“be right and sit tight”
