I seldom call tops or bottoms, but what the heck, this is the Fearless Forcasters, and it seems to me this has been enough of a panic for an IT bottom, and today's intraday reversal looks good so far. I'm not ruling out a divergent retest, and I don't know whether the next upswing will reach new highs or not, only time will tell. But for now, :redbull: . There... I've done it. This almost guarantees that the market will crash tomorrow (if not into today's close). :D   ;)

By the way, in case it wasn't obvious, this post is intended rather flippantly. If by some chance I end up being right, it will only be by pure luck...

I was seeing extreme behavior on 7-26 indicating a significant bottom is near, time wise. I believe you may be right about this....that is that today put in the bottom. At this point I want to see something else, possibly just buy above the 200 day moving average for SPY say. Or buy below as soon as the step trendline along the tops of SPY breaks to the upside. In anycase, I'll give it another day at least before tossing something at it.
In the end we retain from our studies only that which we practically apply.
