Amazing internals. Absolutely amazing. I'm watchin 1 min chart of the advancers it just keeps getting better and better. We only did 1 bil shares on NYSE though, but it still counts as 9 to 1 upside day. Second this week. 3rd from the bottom.

Do you know of a wbsite that would give me the NYSE volume for each day of the past month? Thanks.

Nah, not yet :)

Total volume on NYSE ended up higher then yesterday. That is good. Amazing 10 to 1 upside volume day again. Great A/D. 3rd 9 to 1 day since the bottom.

Not a bad close btw for the long weekend, considering all this volatility. Market has calmed down significantly. I'd be more concerned if we went out at the highs. That would set ups up for a drop. Now it looks OK.

From now on its just going to be business as usual, IMO. Buy good stuff, sell bad stuff.

I think this close is bad news. We closed right below the necklines, there was no breakout today. Maybe we shouldnt have one on low volume anyway, but I dont think today's close was good - or maybe i am just bitter than I have to close this day in the red after such a big profit.

How did you end up in the red ? you weren't long anything overnight ?

This is my portfolio. Its not the closing prices I took the snapshot earlier in the day.

I don't expect all of it to go to the moon... btw.. though it wouldn't hurt.

My sentiment exactly as I see a perfect top formation on Qs with 49.06, as I stated earlier post that it is like a long torture while short and quick profit for shorts. This is a real disappointment to say the least for bulls side perspective.

Long sides have to song and dance for months while short side have short-big-profit in a few weeks for the same.

Have a nice weekend

There is a lot of noise, but the market is now in an uptrend. The only risk on the downside, ex-volatility, at this point is event risk. Beyond that, all non-event downside risk pre-FOMC meeting is already priced into the market because fed funds cuts are priced into the market. The majority of the major desks are net long, net long equity variance, and net short CDX IG looking forward to 9/18.
