The comparison candle for today is 6/28. If we follow the model, expect a gap up to the 2603 pivot and a strong move down to begin from there...

i am betting on a gap down here, today's price action was sad really. and while this is not my reasoning, today is the start of rosh hashana - so why not gamble, keeping the stops real tight. so tight, i just might get squeezed out and annoyed.

Just updated my spreadsheets. Signal lines crossed positive for the QQQ, NDX, Nasdaq, SPX, DOW, OEX, RUT, NYA, SPY and BKX as of the close. They are short term in nature and are not outright buy signals because the base indicator was not low enough for that. The fly in the ointment is the SOX and SMH. Not a good day for those puppies and definitely no cross. However, it usually plays pretty well when there are multiple crosses at the close for so many of the things I track. I remember June 12th. Same thing happened that day except the SOX was in concert.

was surprised at the tentativeness of the market this afternoon to follow through on the upside. note tonight that BSC reports in the morning before the open. wonder how that is going to go over... Echo

Sorry if it was misinformation. I had this from Schaeffer's:
