I read some posts earlier about the strange closing action yesterday and today....IMVHBLTBO......weekly options are playing a big roll now that we are living above a 20 VIX. Weekly spx options expired at open this morning...OEX on close today....FWIW. There is volume in them there weekly's...

Yep, I use to think it was a two week cycle. End/1st of the month, and OPEX. Now, as you say, it seems to be a weekly cycle. It is just another manipulated casino now, sigh.
