Super duper bomb

Its not the bomb. Its the attitude of how we can so easily crush another country. Or at least say that we can. From our own military. Why don't we just say to the whole world, don't P us off, or we will nuke you all ?

So why can t Iran have nukes at all? Anyway, they are going to be less effective than the super bomb mentioned on the article. :P I wish I had an oil rig. I would just sell it and go green. I think Iran should do the same :P

He said that bombing would be launched by 65-70 stealth bombers and 400 bombers of other types.

Excluding fighter bombers (retired F4's, F14's, FB111's, etc.) I don't think we have 100 bombers much less in flying condition including the B1, B2, and B52. I guess if you added in some F17's it would be possible to get the stealth to 65-70 but the article sure seems a we bit optimistic.

I wish I could find the latest almanac edition of the Air Force Magazine but numbers like 20 B1's, 20-30 B2's, and about 50-60 B52H's rings a bell. I could be wrong.

Looks like MOAB added 9000 pounds.

It looks like 104 lancers were built. How many do we need?

We need more, and we need to use them.

As always, consider the source as well as the information.

MOSCOW (AP) — Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday warned against the use of force in Iran and against unilateral sanctions to punish Tehran for its nuclear program.

"We are convinced that no modern problem has a military solution, and that applies to the Iranian nuclear program as well," Lavrov said after talks with French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner.

"We are seriously concerned about increasingly frequent reports that military action against Iran is being seriously considered," Lavrov said.

Kouchner, who is on his first trip to Moscow as foreign minister, made waves over the weekend by saying the international community must be prepared for the possibility of war in the event that Iran obtains atomic weapons.

Kouchner also had said that European leaders were considering their own economic sanctions against Iran over its refusal to forgo parts of its nuclear program, indicating that penalties imposed by the U.N. Security Council have not been effective.... USA Today
