The same units 12 years ago would go for $40,000 and now they sell for $160,000! They are not worth more than $70-80,000 anyway. But they still keep building more condos in Miami urban battle zone? It's safe in daylight, but.... If we get Argentina like inflation(and it's not a given that they'll succeed), you will begin to see housing inflationary price rises again, so everything is off the table.
In the meantime, just like US investors were buying up land in South America, foreign investors will flock here.

Interesting. Where I live, nice city, in Texas, the skyline is being overtaken with new cranes ... more and more condos are being built. Will people fill them? Maybe ... but it's gotta end at some point. Exactly WHEN it ends HERE, is anyones guess.
Happy condo hunting (I got out of mine in Rosedale (Granite Place), Toronto, Canada ... more than 8 years ago ... and glad to have done so)

Cookie, just drove through beautiful Austin on my wasy to Dallas. Got a sprint connect card for my laptop..
Friend works for KB homes and has worked in several neighborhoods in Austin...says about 40-50% cancellation rate.
