I think when people get in trouble financially they start cutting, and fancy phone services get cut.
In the end we retain from our studies only that which we practically apply.

I have seen poor as$ people in 3rd world countries with cell phones. How can they afford it when they can barely feed themselves and their kids? It's sick, but they will have a phone.

People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.

Remember this day, men, for it will be yours for all time.

Mtrader,

I did not say that the US was in recession. I just asked if folks believe that smart phones are recession proof. Meaning will PALM, AAPL and RIMM continue to do well in a recessionary envirionment.

I have seen poor as$ people in 3rd world countries with cell phones. How can they afford it when they can barely feed themselves and their kids? It's sick, but they will have a phone.

Thanks but smart phones are a tad more expensive then the run of the mill cell phone. I appreciate your response. :)
