Obviously trying to drum up a Fear into either the FeD again...ala Cramer tactic,.....or pull in enough panic to get a bottom. Can they actually pull it off...they already did with Cramer. Is CNBC now a PPT controlled entity? I'm starting to wonder. Don't sell them short in what they can do. Don't try and out think the out come, just know and be aware of what they are always trying to do... and that is Control the trading media on in 100s of thousands of trading rooms around the world. P.S There was a Bank of America report that influenced the markets that very morning in 87' as well.
