But I've often found that the signal is good for another week at least. Again, the signal has been 90% good on weekly basis, and to maintain that track record, it says to exit today.

Was that a sell signal that is now closed? Another question: Are you seeing this as the beginning of the major decline you expect to bottom in January? Thanks

It was a 'short QQQQs at close of week' signal given like 2 weeks ago that's now closed at the end of this week. As I said, if you had the balls, you would've been shorting while it went up as it doesn't necessarily pick the EXACT top, but the signal was a winning trade 90% of the time just with a position given at the original signal. Normally I would be covering here, but I am letting it ride some more because the signal to exit is often early and has been known to mark IT tops many times, plus the fractal/cycle prediction I'm riding on. If there's a strong bounce on monday, then I'll be out, or if there's data over the weekend that suggests I should go out monday.

Thanks, that also clarifies it for me. Without knowing what your original signal was --today--a "get out signal" could be likely misconstrued as a market sell.

But, you are likely to wait for an IT signal to "get in." :sweatingbullets:
