This sell off is just the beginning. No, there will be no crashes. And yes, there will be tradable bounces. You guys know me, I am not a bear. But there is a lot more trouble ahead than you think. My advise is: Try to adjust to the new environment. Denleo

Your point, I believe, is well taken. First bounce Monday morning.... but may be short lived..... not sure it lasts more than the morning. . Thanks for the perspective TM

it would have to be the end of the world if it's worse than i think  .

we sold all of our long term techs around mother's day and are only picking a few companies that are washed out and will, we hope, perform well in a down market.

Not attempting to dispute your thesis, but I'd love to hear the logic/TA behind your assertion.

Thanks.

yes, i agree. the reflex rally off of spx 1370 was quite impressive. but, still, if you look at the daily the whole action is quite a classic top. my guess: the fed will do another 50/50, something that will not make any difference and may even not rally the market on fed day ! when a debt implosion of this magnitude and depth starts - one which is energized by collapsing credit quality plus the overhang of high-real-interest-rate suction - there is nothing that can be done. it may be hard to see now, but the outcome will be horrible asset price deflation.
