first day off the minor 6/7 day cycle bottom and NYSE COMP makes a new all time closing price high. sweet.

Been focussed on SPX and NDX so much today, i never paid attention to what NYSE was doing. The leader is leading, which is good. BTW, the NYSE breadth was good too, which the bears were complaining yesterday. NYSE adv 72 vs decl 27.

yeah, nav, back in the day i used to trade the NYSE Comp NYFE contract when it had a liquid market, preferred it to the big SP contract. always good to watch the broad market.

Wow. Someone else actually remembers the good old days when 50K S&P volume was a big day. Not to mention the fact that the NYFE contract even existed.

I remember the first day of S&P500 trading. We've come a long way from the S&P at ~100.
