I would be watching the upper TL 1 around 395-400, which has two touchpoints, before I concerned myself with TL 2 at 350.

I have no position in BIDU either. I am married to GOOG since August 17.

There is no reason to be careful about shorting BIDU. Just don't short too much, and you'll be fine.

The risk/reward is very good. BIDU is trading at some ridiculous times revenues and 3 times growth. It is already pushing the dot com bubble limits.

There was high volume selling today that broke momentum. It won't make any spectacular up moves anymore.

Short the pops.

We should test R1 at 410.XX here soon. That should give us a read on the intraday charts. Right here, the thing has been clobbered on volume and is trying to punch back up on light, but slightly increasing quality of volume ( or Cheap NY tricks as I call it)...

R1 test on 3 min... passes on quality of volume up, bearish upthrust implied...outlook - consolidation. edit: 10 min fail... bearish upthrust. Initial support 409.11, then 405.60 consolidating on 3 min 411.55 resistance test.

edit: 10 min fail... bearish upthrust. Initial support 409.11, then 405.65

Pass support on first try 405.55 ... bullish spring setup... New R1 409.11
