senor you are a lucky hombre, all the other board members point out the best buy points for you dharma

And you Dharma! The price projection is lower, on the xau and hui, if the gold bull remains in tact. It may have put in a top however, something to be aware of.

All FWIW and just my 2cents.

good trading.

tor, its always a possibility that the top is in. however, i was looking for this pullback, so i am not surprised. i have been pounding the table that volatility is about to increase dramatically. we are there and it will occur both ways. the next big move will be up. and i am buying on the close dharma

Tor: what would make you seriously consider that a top is in?

The peak and subsequent decline has been more than I had expected so the possibility must be considered when placing stops to manage risk.

I guess you already know it, but the most important thing is to manage risk.

I can see this as a wave 4 of a 3, lasting into next year. As a possibility.

No HUI correction would be complete w/o a daily trend break + plunge thru the 200DMA.

Compare to the last major correction in mid-2006: trend break/200DMA plunge, followed by recovery highs. If the same angle stays constant here, 360-370 looks to be the bottom.

tor, there are many possibilities. however, the probabilities are few, we are @the start of a parabolic rise. things will occur quickly. time is compressed. i did buying on the close yesterday. and will continue to buy on weakness. monday should end this thing according to my work. we shall see. dharma

Doing some selective buying here.

BSing away

Senor

I'm with Senor. Buying GLD and GDX ( incrementally averaging in) at around 170 on the XAU expecting this retracement to bottom around 166 to 170 before the next leg up. Next leg up likely to start after the stock market completes this intermediate term decline. Maybe mid Dec. ? Maintaining core positions in GTU and FSAGX.
