didn't notice nem's spike low yesterday @ 44.08.....thought I had clear sailing lower looks a little iffy. may take partial profits early....especailly the way things have been going in the market this week scott

NEM has already taken out yesterday's low at 43.08. Even if you take profits now, it's a good trade. I thought about shorting this morning too, based on short term charts, but decided against it because of past experiences shorting gold. Oh well  . Good trade and good luck. I am also still waiting for any significant sign for the intermediate term. Just trading now. Pmilly

I just took half profits @ 43.96.....surprising that I got filled since the current bid was @ 44.01.........we'll see what happens to the rest. I now what you mean pmilly I used to get burned shorting gold stocks now I would say that is what I do more than anything else. scott

got to be totally honest here. I covered the rest @ 44.26 for almost 1% on the day. Not bad for less than 3 hours. It could go either way and I am still waiting for the big signal which I won't know until at least at today's close. On a week like this I am glad to be profitable......the last trade adding to the profit I already had. I tend to do better in choppy markets due to my quick to take profits disposition and because of that sometimes miss out on the big trending moves... Has anyone here read Trading Chaos or know anything about the proftiunity group? thanks. scott

wow, not much chatting here today? is this an indication of worry? boredom? gone home for the day? I was just playing with Gann angles and I have to admit I don't really know how to use them but it looks like nem hit it's 38% Gann resistance downtrend resistance line this morning. I don't know if I'm even saying it right. anyone have experience with Gann angles? if so how about a post and a quick lesson?? thanks Scott

Have to love that close for gold stocks today, quiet all day, didn't drop with the market and then closed strong. I added a little more to my long position mid-day.

sold my last half today near the close (sold the first half yesterday). short term trend is still up but I think the brief pullbacks are not over yet. may pullback little lower early next week. will buy back if pullback occurs or if gold/silver stocks are steady or up. i would think the medium term trend has turned up also.
