ES NQ reopened to take out last friday lows, now tring to stay above those lows... getting above the mid week lows would be nice for the bulls
bears gotta crash it quickly, or we do same as last week, then short covering into fomc, then if they don't think the fed decision is strong enough more bailing

rather than looking at the USD/JPY forex which you were quoting in 117's

it's probably better to look at the yen futures, because if you are just looking at forex you need to consider all the yen crosses, not just USD/JPY

Raschke saw the JY yen futures much higher, which led some of us to state near the market top that the yen carry trade unwind might lead to the usual -17% drop in years ending in '7'
