Time to peel off 1/3 from 1135 for about 22 points. Usually swing signals get generated near the early part of the move or in the middle of a move, very rarely near the tail end of move. If it was near the tail end of the move, it would have whipsawed me and not given any profits at all. Assuming the signal @ 1135 was in the middle of the move, we are looking at 1180-90 area for this swing. If the signal was in the early stages of the move, we are looking at something north of 1200. 7th consecutive winner in a row. I will post an update again when the train reaches station #2 for more profit taking.
Another great trade NAV, wish I had your discipline! Maybe in time.

Hi Nav,
Well done.
"Time to peel off 1/3 ...."
Just wondering, what criteria do you use to decide when to peel off a 1/3 ? Is it based on the market action or on a personal criteria such as such of profit.
TIA

I have explained it more than 3 times in the last one month and hopefully this will be the last time.
It's based on risk/reward....i peel off 1/3 at 1:2 R/R 1:4 R/R and 1:6 R/R. Assuming a stop of 10 points, i would be taking profits at approximately 20, 40 and 60 points respectively. If those R/R are not met, i exit everything on swing reversal.
